Vacation Vibes! (And My Upcoming Ventures)
Feb 01, 2024Fresh off a rejuvenating trip to Grand Cayman with cherished friends, I’m brimming with reflections on life, change, and new beginnings. This getaway was more than just a vacation—it was a chance to connect with people who’ve been my constant through seasons of growth, loss, and reinvention. As I step into a new chapter, I’m excited to share the lessons learned, memories made, and plans ahead.
Friendships Forged Over Wine
Our group of six couples met years ago through Traveling Vineyard, bonding over a shared love of wine and entrepreneurship. Even as businesses evolved and paths diverged, our friendships endured. Whether reminiscing about trips to Tuscany or navigating life’s changes together, these friends have been my rock.
One vivid memory from Rome involves our discovery of a quaint restaurant run by Roberto, a waiter who took us under his wing. Roberto’s generosity, warmth, and knack for making each meal memorable taught us invaluable lessons: be kind, share your expertise, and make others feel seen.
"There were so many life lessons in those moments—be memorable, give generously, and always moisturize!"
Flexibility Is Key
In Grand Cayman, we laughed about getting lost while searching for parking on an island bustling with cruise ship visitors. Instead of letting frustration win, we found a nearby wine shop, enjoyed champagne, and indulged in margaritas at a Mexican restaurant across the street. These detours reminded me to embrace the unexpected and find joy in the journey.
"Be flexible. Go with the flow. Sometimes the best adventures aren’t planned."
Grieving Old Chapters, Embracing New Ones
This trip came at a poignant time as I’ve been navigating the closure of Traveling Vineyard. While there’s grief in letting go, there’s also excitement for new opportunities. Time with these friends gave me space to process my feelings and brainstorm fresh ideas with people who truly understand my journey.
"They reminded me that while one chapter may close, the story isn’t over—it’s just beginning a new adventure."
What’s Next: My Exciting Plans
As I pivot, I’m thrilled about the possibilities ahead, blending my passion for wine, connection, and community into new ventures. Here’s what’s on the horizon:

A Final Toast to the Future

Thank you for being part of this adventure—I can’t wait to share a glass and create new memories with you.
"Here’s to change, connection, and the beauty of what’s next. Cheers!"
