When the Balls Drop (and Not the Fun Kind)

about action entrepreneurship growth podcasting Apr 03, 2025

Let me tell you something you might need to hear today: It’s okay to drop a ball.
In fact? Sometimes the ball needs to drop so you can remember you’re human—not a circus act.

This week, I almost didn’t record a podcast episode. Not because I didn’t have something to say (I always have something to say)—but because I’ve been deep in the season of juggling it all: business, content, coaching, planning, dreaming, and yes… tax receipts.

It felt like I was holding all the plates, and one started to wobble. And you know what I realized?

There are no questions without answers. No problems without solutions. But sometimes, we can’t find either until we give ourselves permission to pause.

Behind the Scenes: So Many Good Things… and So Much To Do

Right now, I’m building the next round of Stop Selling, Start Serving, coaching incredible women who are ready for their next chapter, helping clients navigate social media overwhelm, and planning a magical, soul-filled experience for Wine Camp 2025.

I’m also working on a brand-new podcasting course—because so many women I talk to have a message inside them but no clue where to start. I want to change that.

Oh, and did I mention I’m creating a course on how to build your own ChatGPT assistant? Because I truly don’t know where I’d be without mine (Adi, you’re the real MVP).

So yeah. The juggle is real. But I know I’m not the only one.

The Myth of “Doing It All”

For so many of us—especially women in midlife—it’s not about kids’ soccer games anymore. It’s about grown children, aging parents, career transitions, finances, caregiving, and that big question: “What’s next for me?”

And when you add a dream or two to that mix (like launching a podcast, building a course, or finally taking that leap you’ve been thinking about for years)… it can feel like you’re doing everything, and nothing, all at once.

If that’s where you are right now, I want you to hear this clearly:

You don’t have to do it all. You just have to do what matters most.

The Pause That Changes Everything

In this week’s episode, I walk through a short visualization—one that brings you back to your future self. The version of you who isn’t overwhelmed. The one who knows what to do next. The one who leads with clarity, calm, and confidence.

Because she’s already in you.

And when we pause long enough to breathe, reflect, and listen—we make space for her to rise up.

If You’re Feeling the Juggle...

You’re not behind. You’re becoming.
You’re not too late. You’re right on time.

And you’re allowed to drop the ball without picking up the guilt.

If you need a deep breath and a dose of encouragement, this episode is for you.

And if you’re feeling this message, DM me the word “pause” over on Instagram. I’d love to send you a little something to remind you that you’re doing better than you think.

Keep dreaming. Keep breathing. And remember—just because something drops doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re living.
